We did make it to Apo. Weather was iffy while in Dumaguete, so other than the 1 day at Apo, we stuck to Dauin. Bohol was also very nice, with a chance whale shark encounter. I heard Bohol got flooded a couple days after we left.
Sticking to the topic, the Blurfix +CYD worked really well. I was afraid it would be cumbersome, but I never had a problem getting it on/off. I had a pouch that SRP provided, and I kept it in there while not in use. The one negative was that the retaining leash for the Blurfix often floated into view. That was probably equal parts design and operator error. I like the idea of the leash, but I really had to watch out for it while videoing.
