What do you do if your dive bag doesn't show up at your destination????
Since I pack everything in my bag, except for my C-cards, reg, and computer, I'd also need to rent everything else if I HAD to dive before my stuff showed up. Carry a spare standard octo and BC inflator hose in your reg bag, just in case..... and relax. Isn't that what diving is supposed to help you do, or am I missing something?
I don't miss having that extra dangly hose. My wife and I did a "panic" drill. She grabbed my primary with no warning, and without even signaling ooa [as planned, although the timing was up to her]. I simply reached over for my SS1, and barely missed a breath. Then I punched her in the nose (just kidding). Sure better than fumbling for an octo!
