Back in the water, finally

Been *TOO* long since I been in the water... But alot of that has to do with the fact that I really dont know any scuba divers out here in San Diego, so... Anyway,, ... Due to another malfunction that has put my skydiving equipment OOC this week, I am going scuba this friday on the Ocean Express out to the Coronado Islands.. Anybody else on that trip? ... I would like to get in the water a bit more .. so if mabey I can make some scuba contacts on this thing eh?

In fact, we are having our monthly Wrinkles Dive on Catalina Island this weekend. Everyone is invited and it's a great way to meet other divers. To find out more about our monthly Wrinkles Dives check out the thread for this month's gathering:

Sign up for San Diego Dive Bums list: http://www.divebums.com I'm on the OC list and have met alot of buddies. Also, join your local dive clubs. Our club here in OC makes at least 5 dives a week. If you're in the area, PM me. Would be happy to have you join us. In fact, a few from your area drive up quite a bit.

Why drive to OC to dive? Jan is right you should join the LOCAL dive clubs! The club that dives the most as far as I can tell is the Dive Animals Scuba Club. They have 2 boats they take out every weekend to great sites offshore like: Scripps Canyon, Buoy B, Anchor and Quast Rock, PB Reef, The Yukon, The Ruby E, the NOSC Tower,
3 Fingers Reef, and more! I always have an excellent time on the boat. They ask you to donate 15 dollars for the fuel for each boat trip. It's 40 dollars to join and your 1st boat trip is free... You should sign up for DCI's specials which can get you a trip to the Coronados for 38 bucks with 5 days notice... The vis can be 50+ down there (usually is). I suggest you find some buddies and DIVE!!! I'd be happy to show you the Shores if your interested. My schedule is sorta full (of diving) now, but I think I'll be at the La Jolla Shores this Wed(13th) at 6pm... Hope to see you there!

Hey Nate,
Never used this site before so I hope that I am doing it right....but I am looking for some new dive buddies too, just got back into the water this year after about a 2 year break and down for pretty much about anything. I even am obsessed with night dives. Anyhow I have kinda a crazy weekend this weekend but maybe we can plan soemthing for the not too far future. Let me know

Looks like you did it right

I'm in Hawaii right now, going diving tomorrow, should be a good time, but I would love to go do a dive or two when I get back (flying back 27th) .. I have never done a night dive, but it is definately on my list of "things to do" so, yea... Sounds good

There are only a whole bunch of San Diego divers here, you should not be dry for too long.
