sue and i just got back from tahiti tonight!!!!!
i just wanted to say one thing.......

A BLAST!~



we saw TONS of sharks (lemon, black-tip, white-tip), manta ray, sting rays, you name it!

shall i share some pics with you??

i know i am a newbie, but i couldn't resist bringing my little camera with me.......it turned out fine. no mishaps. my wife knew i was on a pic safari, as did my divemaster.

i will post some pics as soon as i learn how to do so!

That place is amazing!!! I was blown away by the islands when I was there-like no place else!
Give us some more info...where did you guys stay? Topside tours? I cant wait to return, so in the meantime I will live vicariously through yours!

hey all!!

yeah!!! it was soooooooooooooooooo beautiful! so unadulterated.....so pure, almost spiritual. bora bora was all about the water....lagoons galore....so quiet and remote......moorea was all about sharks, mountains...simply gorgeous!

hoppy! congrats! welp....we stayed at the sofitel......really nice. you gotta try the over the water bungalows....so cool! you can jump right off your steps into the water.

BUT! it comes at a cost! everything is pricey in tahiti.....i'd say 2.5x hawaii. for example, a burger costs about $15 american.

buy all you need at home! insect repellant, snacks, SUN SCREEN!

nice places to eat at bora bora.....bloody mary's, local hotels....
at moorea....try top dive, mahogony's.....

all nice restaurants provide free transportation.

the weather was nice......about 85 F.....humidity was tolerable.....

the people! VERY nice.....wonderful service.

we dove with nemo world, iao ora diving. they are great....i hear that top dive is also nice.

i hope you have a wonderful time!
