avg water temps w/7MM

Now that i have my drysuit , anything below 70 will be dry . I used the henderson hyperjunk 7mm with an 5mm hooded vest in 66 degree water and froze . Ive also dove it much colder and that really sucked.

dry would be nice. but unfortunatly I don't own a dry suit as of yet. Next year I will get dry suit certified and probably purchase one.. but for now the 7MM has to do

As long as it's a good suit that fits well and you have the right metabolism there's no reason why you need to hang up your fins for the winter where you live. Sometime in the last year there was an extensive thread in the New England forum that was loaded with lots of tips for managing cold water diving before after and during the critical surface interval. Search and you will find.
