I would love to participate in either this or the isthmus cleanup. Where can we get the details?

If I'm in town, I'm usually there... although I'm covering it for one of the local papers rather than doing the clean-up itself. I usually donate some of my DVD's to this good cause.

hay drbill i dive casino point often but this will be my 1st for the clean up dive in the harbor . i chose the green pier as my option for dive enterance and was wondering how far i will have to walk for an air fill between dives and do they charge for fills for this event? do they fill tanks at all 3 entrances?
or do we only get 1 dive? or have any other helpful info for us 1st timers?

Catalina Scuba Luv is just up the street from the green pier and you should get a coupon for a free air fill with the packet you will get in the mail shortly before the event. If you are bringing a tank, your best bet is to have it filled before you make the trip over and use that for the dive.
The cleanup is a one dive deal. You do not get multiple dives during the event. Once you are out of the water you are done in the harbor. But you can still head to the point or to Scuba Luv to get your tank filled and dive the point after the event.
