Oh ... almity1  hope you feel better soon. Just tell him that if he does that again you will have to retire and wont have much super :D

Me neither ... only ever dived it once ... didn't do it when Phill was here as I had a sore ear, Sheila and Phill seemed to enjoy it tho :)

Camp Cove is a great spot! :) That is where me and Paul dove on our first trip to Sydney. The swell was about that big then too.

I got out for a dive this week with Michael and burna, to Mordialloc Pier, which I have only dived at once before. The highlight was seeing two dumpling squid mating as I'd never seen that before (that makes me sound like a pervert actually...:eyebrow:). Paul was supposed to join us but locked himself out of his house and car, woops, and will have a forth week dry! :shocked2: I told him he will need a refresher course. ;)

We also saw about one bajillion seahorses, lots of blennies and seastars, these tiny little fish that flashed silver as they swum around and some angry crabs near the start of the pier trying to threaten us with their arms. It is now down to 13C but we got 97mins in, Michael toughed it out in his wetsuit but will soon be in a drysuit :) I am so glad I got my p-valve as I usually couldn't last 97mins without one! :rofl3:

Here are some pics:

Well, didn't mention the viz last night... but it was 8m so pretty awesome :)

95% of my shots are macro so viz is usually irrelevant to my shots actually as long as it is 30cm or more!

I would've prob'ly even said the vis was more than 8m. Next time I'll take my little spool and we'll measure.

It was a great dive, really enjoyed it. Lots to see and easy entry/exit, although a bit of a hoof out to the platform where we jumped in.

I haven't heard of many people diving Mordi pier, I'm surprised it's not more popular.

Your shots turned out really well there Sas. Did you get one of M's lead haul? He's like a lead magnet! And I think he found a penny from 1938 too.

All I found was a golf ball and the Titanic!
