No, there's nothing wrong with shories, I love them. :kiss2: A lot less hassle I reckon. What I meant was this combination of stuff ups could have been more serious on a boat dive/deeper dive.

Sorry couldn't resist a little :stirpot::rofl3:

Yea it didn't seem to be your best night out burna :( The picture tells a thousand words ;)

I've had dives like that. One time I forgot to put 6lb on for a night dive and didn't realise until about a few days later after wondering why the whole dive was just constant finning. Or another dive where I forgot my booties so had to wear sneakers (very floaty as I discovered) plus I was diving with twin 7s, which make me really foot light anyway. Usually I would be fine to just float on my head for the dive but the regs I was borrowing flooded with water any time I did this :rofl3: Just really really uncomfortable. But yea, usually I don't make the same mistake again so next time you'll remember all of these, not like most people who might forget one thing per dive and overall have more dives with bits that are uncomfortable before they remember stuff rather than one super uncomfortable dive :D

Second dive with my new G11 :) Still working out all the functions but so far its working well. Lots of silt in the water so makes it hard to take really clear pics.

The rest of the pictures in the album are here Picasa Web Albums - Chris - 2009-10-23 but here is a couple from it.

hahahaha thats a classic!

yep everybody has them but many aren't as good at working through them :lol: I wish I had got to see Sas do her dive floating around feet up head down she normally has perfect trim lol:D

We had to make our dive a short one.. 85 minutes.. got lousey fills:crying:

We found what I think was a bleeding Pleurobranch in a seagrass bed, what looked like the tail of a slipper lobster sticking out of the gill of a Wobby, an Eastern cleaner clingfish, and a couple cute little Reaper's cuttles. Lots of particulate in the water so hard to get good shots but it was a fun relaxing dive.

Yea I've seen some of those Sydney fills, what's with that? I have *once* got below 200 but usually it is 210-220 :)

I got one dive in on the weekend only :depressed: I had a party in the middle of woop woop Saturday night so could only fit the one in. Anyway we got in a nice long dive at Blairgowrie Pier - nearly 2hrs (soz to rub it in petunia :P). Water is warming up (now 14C!) and we had nice viz at 12m. HEAPS of nudis - this pier is like nudi paradise. Our main goal was to find a tassled angler but the little buggers eluded us again :shakehead:
