August 24th diving

I'm finally hanging in NY for the weekend of the Aug 23/24. I was invited to go diving on a boat out of Jersey but it's 90 ft and the captain felt I shouldn't go on this boat because I don't feel 100 % comfortable at that depth. Although, I'm certainly not against going past 70 ft because the more I do it, the better I feel about it. Anyway, does anyone know of any dives happening on August 24th within driving distance of the NYC?

The Dive Club is planning a dive at Beach 8th St on August 24th.

I am tentatively planning to do this myself...
