Just enough torque so that you can't undo the connections by hand. The o-rings make the seal. Scubapro spec is 80 inch pounds. Best to lube the o-rings with a bit of O2 compatible lube like christolube. But I don't think I would worry about it if you can't get some.

Find a new LDS that does not turn down an opportunity to make an honest buck just so they can punish a potential customer who had the audacity to shop elsewhere.
 
Just screw them in hand tight, take a wrench and tighten a LITTLE BIT more. They all have an O-ring, so they don't have to be very tight at all. A little "food-grade silicone" (spelling) on the oring is ok, but that's all you need. No thread tape or anything like that.
