    Hi,

Are there any businesses renting ATVs or buggies per day/week rather than as a day trip, off road, adventure? Thank you.

The rental agencies on Cozumel are not keen on customers taking their vehicles off road, especially not north from Mescalito's if that's what you are thinking of.

Nah, I am just looking for something bigger than a scooter and smaller than a car to get around the island.

Try HTL...just a couple doors down from Kinta.

Not positive, but I think they may rent them. I rented a Jeep from them last year. Good price no hassle.

FWIW, there are good roads all the way around the island; I was responding to the "off road" part. Kudos on not wanting to go around the island on scooters, though.

I rarely rent vehicles there, but when I do - I use Isis and drive VWs. Isis includes full liability insurance and shows up if there is a wreck to keep the customer out of jail which could ruin a visit. You don't want to take any vehicle offroad outside of a tour. Almost all of the offroad areas are protected, easily damaged, and then there are the recoveries.
