The Uemis Zurich! I know there was 1 other thread about this thing a while back, but MAN this is beautiful!

And a vid of it:

I wish that engineers would stop making bland dive computers. We have such wonderful tech out there now - let's use it! The price on this isn't bad too, considering what you get (in comparision to the other brands out there).

My only question is - is it reliable? That also seems to be lacking from manufacturers as well (as witnessed by the threads posted on this forum).

Nice! ... but will Tobin be making a bungee mount for it?

looks interesting. What about the company how old is it?
Hmm what about the compass ; there is not any.

any inside on this?

Tobin could make a bungee mount for a MacBook Pro if there was a demand.

I really want want of these things also. I am such a tech addict ! There is lots of info around about it, but hardly any in English-- I have been communicating with a rep from the company and right now it appears that there are no US dealers... but you can order one from their site. Who's going to be the first one on the block to have one ?

It kind of reminds me of the wrist device that the Alien used in the movie Predator !

The price isn't bad at all, for what it is. No information I saw about what the deco algorithm is, though.

It doesn’t say much... But I did find in the web page the following info:
Algorithm Uemis ZH-L8+
Number of compartments 8
Range of half-times 5 .. 640 minutes
Deep Stops none, 1 or 2 minutes

It does look nice, but I'm not really impressed with a ZHL-8 algorithm though
