What is your definition of "better"? And are we talking about your definition or mine?
I have tried the Z2, B2, M1, Scubapro MK25/S600, various Sherwoods, Oceanic, Mares and Zeagle.
I own two Aqualung Legend LX and one Titan Micra ADJ.
But that is MY preference. Your taste may vary. If you are asking which performs better, I think most of that will be subjective to each user. According to Scuba Labs latest review, the numbers were about dead even.
Most of all it's going to be personal preference as to which one meets your needs for the type(s) of diving you do. I would see if you could use each, even in a pool, try all different positions, try to exert yourself fairly well, feel how the exhaust flow around your face. Does it breathe dry even upside down?
Then start asking about cost, availability of repairs.
In the end, it will be about what makes you satisfied, happy, confident and not having buyers remorse.

Is there a particular reason you're going for the high-end of the market? There are less-expensive regs that perform about as well as any recreational diver could expect.....
(E.g., I bought the AL Titan LX, even though it's still kinda pricey, because I didn't see that much extra value in shelling out for the Legend; ACD is nice, but not essential.....)
