Just close up the adjustment a little and this problem goes away. You can open it up again once you begin your dive.
 
Sorry to be a bit off topic, but we were actually talking about Dacor Vyper Octo.

Thought for the day, the great thing about buying a cheap octo... you're not the one whose life is going to depend on it.


[Added] That was not to imply that the Dacor octo is a cheap octo. It may be an inexpensive one, but that is entirely different from being a cheap one.

If I remember right the Exhaust and Mouthpiece were like $15 each, the 7 ft swivel hose about $65, and I paid $250 for the Z-1.
