Does anyone know if Atomic Split Fins with spring straps are neutral, negative, or positive? Someone asked me, and I have no clue. I've found conflicting information online. Thanks!

Yeah, I do, but I didn't even think to do that...

I'm only diving fresh water at this time. I put my fins in a full bathtub. They are slightly negative.

Do you feet fit the fins tight enough to trap air pockets? Might give them enough lift to avoid sinking feet affecting trim.

I use Chuck Taylors for rock boots, laced tight with bungees for laces. And yes, the fins fit closely. No air is getting in my feet!

I assume you don't own them?

Because if you did, you can just dump yours in the tub and see what happens.

Don't offer up obvious, low-tech solutions, we'd much rather have a long, contentious, tedious Scubaboard debate, dragging in BP's/DIR stuff while we're at it! There's likely a through, heavily funded, govt study examining this issue 'in progress' as well, which you have just ruined!
