Atom and WaterBorne Strap

Ok I ordered a Waterborne strap to replace Oceanic's on my Atom. Turns out the Waterborne strap is too short/small for my drysuit plus glove.
Anyone else with any ideas?

Longer by about 4" ... I just wish they weren't so much more expensive than the Waterborne version

(with a longer strap you can see what those seemingly useless 2 rings are used for on the opposite side from the buckle)
