Join the Greater Omaha SCUBA Club for a local dive event!

Place: Atlantic Quarry, Schildberg Construction, Atlantic, IA
Time: 11:00AM
There will be a grill available as well as a couple canopies for shade. Bring a tarp for setting up your dive gear, a lawn chair, beach towel, cooler for drinks/food, and of course all your dive gear including tank(s) and weights.
If you have not been diving at the Atlantic Quarry, it's a lot of fun. So many blue gill you won't believe it, and they love scuba divers! I guess it helps that we feed them corn. Other fish spotted in the quarry include largemouth bass, carp, crappie, channel catfish, and walleye. A few people have seen turtles underwater. I have only seen them at the surface but you never know what you'll come across.
