I will be going to Blue Lagoon the weekend of 15 and 16th.

Was wondering if anyone had been to both parks?

Visibility
Accomodations
Etc....

It's been a long time since I have been to Blue Lagoon.

From what I can recall...

Athens: Low vis normally due to suspended white clay. Vis can be good weather and student dependent. No wildlife. Less than 30 feet depth. Lots of sunk stuff to see. Hot showers on site.
Very easy access to off site food and drinks.

Blue Lagoon: Low vis normally due to suspended silt and algae bloom. No wildlife due to water chemistry. Less sunken stuff to see. I don't know the status of showers or changing rooms. Off site food and drinks not close by. Nice camping. No trains.

Hope this helps.

Nope, no showers or changing rooms. But, there is plenty of woodline for you to change in! :D
