Optimal Ascent Speeds

For both technical and recreational diving, I ascend at 9m per min, up to my 9m stop. Thereafter, I ascent at 3m per min.

with V planner you have to set the ascent rate in metres per minute. It doesn't tell you what the rate is.

It gives a default (9m per min). It's not wise to start playing with that default unless you have a very good understanding of the theory/algorithm...and have a very good reason to do so.
