I am planning a trip to aruba and would like recommendations on what dive shop to use.

I am going there next week and am planning on going out with JADs. I went out with them last year and had a very nice time. Four passengers, dive master and capt. on the boat. Nice and easy. They are a friendly bunch and seem to know what they are doing.

Whatever you do, avoid Red Sail like the plague. A dangerous cattleboat.

Another vote for JADS. If you ready my recent post, not liking Aruba diving that much had nothing to do with JADS. They were awesome. Great bunch of people there. We were there in Dec. and the water was quite choppy and the current quite strong. Sometimes you do swim against that current. I’m just not a fan of being in a group with the reef flying past below you. Not all dives are drift though. Hope your conditions are better. JADS was great. They even moved the boat to a more sheltered location for our surface interval, then back out into the chop again to do our second dive.

I dove with JADS last January - had a great time and they pick you up where ever you are staying. Really friendly people.

I dove with Clive when I was there last year. Small boat, personal service, great time! I'd use him again for sure. Picked me up at the Marriott right on time, let me dive my own profile, no limits to bottom time, etc.
