A new article on the risks in running snorkeling activities has been posted on the Marine Marketing & Consulting website and here on Scubaboard. The article is based upon a snorkeling fatality case that recently went to trial. This unexpected accident, and the litigation that surrounded it, reveals possible gaps in how the diving industry approaches snorkeling excursions. If you are an industry professional who runs snorkeling outings this article may be helpful to you. You can download additional articles on sport and commercial diving safety from the MMC website.
