Yesterday I took some of my nieces & nephews & children & grandchild down to our little patch of woods to enjoy the wide-open spaces & the excellent weather. I decided to climb a tree, and lept up to grab hold of a limb and swing up onto a low branch. The leap was high enough, and I grabbed the limb with both hands, but as my full weight was applied I heard the disconcerting sound of ripping tissue in my left arm - sounded just like someone ripping fabric!
So it looks like I'm a one armed bandit for a few weeks and will have to stay out of the water... AAAAaaarrrrggggghhhh!
I hate that!
Rick :( :( :(

Perhaps a little to much holiday turkey adding to the ballast? Sorry to hear about it, best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I too have a problem with my mind thinking it's younger than my body is!!

Heal up soon!

somtimes second childhood is kinda hard on us old guys:D

Hope you're back in the water soon.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

you just stop healing quickly...don't rush the recovery, that's always my big failing. Should reduce the number of 'honey-dos', tho...

Gettin' old(er) ain't for sissies!

Hope you heal as good as new

Same thing happened to Woody on Toy Story.

Do you still have the arm? Can it be sewn back on?
