I have a Zeagle DS-V and I just purchased a Flathead 7.....I love Zeagle regulators. A great product that I have been extremely happy with.

Did you have to trade anything in to get the 30% discount? Did you get it locally or though one of the online dealers? Thanks.

I went here:

Zeagle Express is the most complete source for everything Zeagle Systems makes

if you enter the code, you get the discount. They are located in the same town as Zeagle proper. They warranty and service all their stuff. They were super nice to me as well, and if they are nice to me, then they'll certainly be nice to you, because you are nowhere near as crabby as I am

Another vote for ZeagleExpress. That is where I ordered the rebuild kits for my Flathead VI, good folks to works with. Scubatoys is another great option.

Best wishes.

I like the size of the Micron and the Titan also is a possibility...I would prefer a brand that can be serviced by many LDS (I have about 5 in my general vicinity, all selling different brands) and includes a lifetime warranty.

Even the new Micron first stage uses the same basic internal parts, so it should do nicely as well. Certainly nothing wrong with the Zeagles and with parts easy to get, there is nothing wrong with buying a rebuild kit or 2 and keeping it with you. Any tech worth having can rebuild the reg if he has the parts.

I just bought another Zeagle regulator from ZeagleExpress because they gave me the best deal.

I have 2 of the Zeagle DS-V's and I absolutely love them, they breathe easier than anything I have used (granted I haven't tried the Sherwood SR-1). I strongly believe the DS-V is one of the top regs that you can find and when you factor in price, nothing beats them. Although, if you don't require the cold water performance (which is doesn't sound like you do) you can save a ton of money by getting the Envoy Deluxe ($265 @Scuba.com), it has the same second stage as the DS-V but an unsealed first stage.

No I didn't. I got it at my LDS. I am pretty sure most dive shops will work with you to get the 30% off.

Another vote for Zeagle. I bought two Flathead VI's for $281 each using the 30 percent discount. I also have a DS-V,Envoy Deluxe, and Rezort. My experience has been great customer service and quality products.

As mentioned before almost all of the name brand regulators will perform well. What set's Zeagle apart from the rest for me is the great service.

I have the Zeagle Flathead VI, love it. I am also purchasing a Sherwood SR1 (I think that is the model number) as they also have a trade in discount through the end of the month. A couple of friends have them and love them.
You cannot go wrong with a Zeagle though.
