be possible?.....Don't they mean "93% are in the process of owning their own home"

  • Home ownership –-yes---paid for
  • Mortgage amount – therefore zero
  • Marital Status –married happily for over 30 years
  • Presence and age of children – none under our roof--all 3 'grown & gone'.....

Not even close! I'm female, 29yrs old. I'm a graduate student so I make no money, I dont' own a house (also no mortgage!), don't have kids, not married. The only thing even remotely close is that my future occupation will be in scientific research.

  • Mortgage amount – Median of $148,000: MUCH higher; this is California.
  • Marital Status – 71% married: Check.
  • Presence and age of children – 17% have kids under 18: Check.
