Calling all holiday orphans! I had a thought …what are you doing on April 20th (Easter Sunday)?

I am a self-proclaimed holiday orphan! My family lives in Louisiana and most of my friends have family/significant other plans that Sunday. Therefore, I have decided drag my dive buddy (who is also a holiday orphan & doesn’t know I am roping him into this) & going diving Sunday morning.

So if you are an orphan such as myself, not Catholic and do not observe Easter Sunday, don’t have children that need to see the Easter Bunny, cannot stomach another day of turkey, or just want a good excuse to dive (those poor people have no one on a holiday  ) …join us!!!

Let me know if you are interested and we’ll go from there!

Sandy

wish I could join you sandy, I'm a holiday orphan too.

but too far for me this time around I'm afraid

:(

I can dive April 20th. :) Please consider me if you get a group together. :tree: Bob

Bob is not a holiday orphan. He has a very sweet wife. He does happen to be a good dive buddy and I enjoy spending time with him. Don't let him escape.

Well, since Bob is coming from Lakeland, how about a 2 tank drift dive here in West Palm Beach with the Rampage (www.therampage.com) out of Riviera? They are boarding on the 20th at 7:30 a.m. & departing at 8:00 a.m.

What do you think?

Hi Walter,
Beth and I thought this would be a good time to get away for a couple of days. Who knows, maybe you and I together can talk her into going out on the boat. That would be a first! The Rampage sounds like a plan to me. I just need to get in the water. :tree: Bob

If y'all don't mind, I would prefer if everyone call & make their own reservations. (800-525-0876 or local 561-626-1003) - only because they asked for a credit card. I spoke with the captain this morning & gave him a heads up that others from the ScubaBoard will be calling. I told him that he came highly recommended. He seemed like he is fun...his comment was "Oh great, now I'll actually have to DO something!" You've got to love someone that has a sense of humor - especially if he is going to take US out! LOL

I booked spots for Brian (aka Mac Gyver) & I for the morning dive on the 20th. The cost is $45 w/o equipment or tanks. $60 w/tanks but he only has air. Since Brian & I do Nitrox, I will probably rent those tanks through Force E (approx. $12.50/tank) on Blue Heron Blvd - right before the bridge on the west side. Their number is 561-845-2333 if you also want Nitrox.

So who else do we have?
Mr & Mrs. Seadog (aka???)
Bob & Beth

Sounds like a fun group so far and I can't wait to meet all of you!

Sandy
