just a fyi, if you are only using scubaboard you will have a massive sampling bias as scubaboard users lean old (>50) and male. You could post on r/scuba (https://www.reddit.com/r/scuba), girls that scuba fb group, and instagram to get a wider demographic sample. It is worth noting that since some scuba bros, especially boomers, can be such unbelievable mansplaining bores, many of the women are on private groups and not here. Which may answer some of your questions.
I'm a 51 year old white male, so not a boomer. But your assessment is spot on. I wonder if after these boomers pass away if the sport will pick back up again?

I was already considering looking into other platforms to post based off responses I was getting so thank you! I will see about posting it on those pages.
