I agree with the first part of your post wholeheartedly but disagree with the second part. The root of the entire problem is that you care. This whole dog and pony show that everything should be made in the US is stupid and it's hubris that American's think they can build stuff better than anyone else. The first lesson of macroeconomics is if Country A is better at building widgets and Country B is better at building thimbles, they should do that, and trade with one another.

I see, hmm. So once upon a time Country A made really good widgets and Country B (plural) made really good thimbles but then Country B decided to tariff punitively Country A widgets. But Country A mostly benevolently ignored the punitive tariffs and continued to pay for the defense of the free world while Country B (plural) continued to underspend their agreed upon spending. Then one day, Country A said, hmmm, since we pay for your defense, your punitive tariffs and all of that and now we cannot make our widgets because the IP has been stolen and copied by Country C, we are going to impose reciprocal tariffs. And of course Country B (plural) and Country C throws a hissy fit, how dare Country A do such a thing after six decades of us cheating them. How dare they.

Meanwhile I just want my parts from Country C. I do not care where it comes from. It can be exported from Hades for all I care. Maybe countries should just drop all tariffs and taxes, both ways. And enforce patent and IP theft regulations most all have agreed to but do not.

DUI I know is in San Diego, but aren’t Bare drysuits made in Malta and Pinnacle also made in China? Deep6 was Ursuit in Finland.

CCR sorb comes from Filtration Group in France or the UK. If that name sounds familiar, they took over Filtran from SPX, who supplies automatic transmission fluid filters to almost all the automakers from their Michigan/German/Chinese facilities.
ISC is in Texas
Kiss is in Arkansas
Fathom is in Florida

We do make, or assemble from a mix of domestic & foreign built components, various scuba things in the USA.

I just want stuff to be made here because I believe in people having jobs. I believe that we should be self sufficient, I believe that not just scuba gear but anything should be made well enough and be serviceable with parts available (not throw away) to be sustainable in the future. We can't continue to consume and throw away, it's not sustainable. Too many things are designed to prematurely fail to keep consuming going.
I believe in high quality products that last a lifetime.
I don't like when there are 100 plus ships sitting offshore in Long Beach harbor that can't be unloaded because we are addicted to cheap crap.
I don't believe in a global economy when critical infrastructure is vulnerable. Someone always wins and someone always loses. We have been at the losing end way too long. I blame big business for selling us out and offshoring everything so they can personally stuff a few more billions into their pockets.
This never should have gotten this bad, but as long as government is addicted to campaign money from big corporate America the people will always get sold out. It's all about max profits and making shareholders happy. They consider us just mindless starving idiots that will consume whatever is put in front of us like starving dogs without us giving a rip about the origin of the goods we consume and the long term repercussions of those choices.
If there was a major world wide conflict and we were involved we would be at a serious disadvantage, especially with China. We wouldn't have any underwear socks or uniforms to wear. But as long as a few at the top are getting filthy rich who cares, right?

Right now on the bench:

MADE IN USA

I walk the talk!

Wow!
And these are 100% made here in Monterey?
No. They're made in Taiwan by Yuhsin, Nex simply pretends that their regulators are made here in Monterey. I doubt they're even assembled there, knowing the sleazebag behind the company. I'd steer clear.

And to answer the question in the title, no.

Atomic Aquatics First Stages regulators are partially? manufactured and for sure assembled and QA'd in their own facility in Costa Mesa, California.
Fixed it for you. Corrections in bold.

Zeagle is lovingly put in boxes....somewhere
Deep6 was Ursuit in Finland.
*are made by Ursuit.

I still don't get it.
A little country like Sweden making Poseidons and all the rest of quality things they make there.
A little country like Italy making Scubapro's and sexy cars like Ferrari's and Lamborghini's and the finest suits and high quality leather shoes.
My wife bought a high quality vacuum made in Germany and it was $1000, she loves it! It was worth every penny.
And in a country the size of ours with our technology and our man power and our resources somehow we can't make sh!t!
It's very frustrating.
I would be willing to pay whatever it took if I knew I was paying someone's livable wages and supporting a domestic industry, but it's not even an option.
Buying vintage stuff that was made here decades ago doesn't count.
It can be made there, but with the salaries in the US as high as they are and manufacturing being no good in the US it would be expensive and badly made

Wow, that was harsh!
Care to expand on that?
The scumbag part.
If you come to Monterey and ask about Nex regulators, most folks won't have nice things to say. A lot of the people in the dive scene here aren't anything more than grifters who found SCUBA as a way to sucker people out of money, and our pals at Nex fill that niche. They're your typical overpriced, gimmicky products (9 LP ports? Come on.) Buddies that have worked on the regs have not been impressed. I used a set once on a "try-dive" and found them underwhelming. Nex also hides the fact that the regulators are produced elsewhere, and at least in older advertising claimed that they had a factory in Monterey, which is misleading slop, since at the absolute most they have a guy threading the things together in the back of a dive shop here.

As for the sleazebag comment, I'm going to have to leave it there for now. Word gets around, and I don't want to post about the stuff I've heard since A) it was word of mouth from guys I trust, and could be traced back to me or them in some form, or B) even though it was from people I deem credible, it could be wrong. That being said, If you want, next time you're in Monterey, let me know, and we can meet up for a dive or something and talk. I promise I'm nicer in real life than on here.
