Booked Newark to Bonaire direct last week for July travel, 612.00. Arrives 1:45. Has always been a reliable flight.

What are the actual schedules, i know United does 2 on Saturdays and Delta does 1 on Saturdays year round and some times of the year does Sunday as well.

Any American carriers doing anything else anymore?

I only know out of Newark and it's just 1x on Saturday direct. Other times are connecting with extreme travel times. Also, the Saturday direct stops running mid August until early November so nothing direct with United then. I have traveled Jet Blue out of JFK to Curacao then picked up the DiviDivi flight to Bonaire. Not a bad trip, a little extra time and little extra$ but could be worse. Jet Blue also has other day options into Curacao other than Saturday....I flew on a Tuesday!

United has a flight out of Houston Texas Saturday afternoon and get in at 6:30 at night... Then that's the plane they use for the 7am return to Houston..

That flight would actually be a LOT easier on me than Delta, but business is about $600 more a seat.

That's not what i asked.
The answer to what you asked was No. United and Delta, period.
I was providing additional specific information, since American used to fly to Bonaire from San Juan.

It actually arrives at 7:35 local time which is a little late for my liking. In the past we have flown from Calgary via Houston, but thinking the next trip we will go via Newark because the Newark flight arrives at 2:30 pm.

Not so. It made flying from the west coast much easier.

I thought it was insane, sounded like a good idea on paper though. Arrive in Bonaire at 4 am, but you can't check into your hotel room until the afternoon (cause that's when the prior guests have checked out of their rooms and housekeeping has had a chance to tidy up the room for the new arrivals) so you're dead tired (no sleep) so when you finally get your stuff moved in you want to eat/sleep and not do the required check out dive immediately, so you miss the early afternoon check out dive and aren't allowed to dive in Bonaire until the next day after you've done the required check out dive....so getting that big head start on the famous unlimited shore diving by arriving in on the 'redeye' is another urban legend!
