I might also suggest Salvo--their regs are mostly the same as the DiveRite's. I'm going to keep my RG2500ICE for my single rig and get 2 Salvo SR1 (the non-swivels) for whenever I get my doubles set up.

Do they offer the balanced 2nd stage yet? I thought all they had was the unbalanced.

Another vote for DR regs , Im ordering another set for my stage bottle soon .

Nope. That's why I'm going to use my balanced DiveRite 2nd stage with the Salvo 1st stages. :)

I've noticed in my area, that there seems to be little trepidation in using first stages from one company, and second stages from another. As long as the IPs match up, seems to be fine. I use my oceanic delta second stage on my dive rite, and it breathes GREAT. If I don't adjust the second stage down a bit, it freeflows.

I like the Dive Rite second stages just fine though. I was at Salvo the other weekend, and that seems like a great bargain. I had been thinking of going a different route for my next double's setup, but I may just do that instead. And the service parts kit is hanging in the shop right next to the regs. Gotta love it.

Since the Salvo and DiveRite regs are essentially the same, it would (hopefully) stand to reason that the 2nd stages have close to the same IPs.
Right now I have a DiveRite RG2010 2nd (balanced) as my primary and a Salvo SRS (unbalanced) 2nd as my backup, both connected to my DiveRite RG1208 1st stage.
My girlfriend has those exact 2nd stages on a Salvo SR1 1st stage. Both aren't having any issues so far...*keeps fingers crossed*
