In a pineapple, under the sea!
Hi scuba-philes, how's it going?

Since I received a delightful PM asking me to post in this thread and introduce myself, I thought I would drop in and say hello.

My name is Mike, and up until a few months ago I lived in Oklahoma. Then I hit a "late 30's" birthday and thought "screw this". So I packed up my wife and kids and got a job in Palau - where my family and I now live and go diving every weekend.

My wife and I are still pretty new to the dive scene, but we are having the time of our lives here. I look forward to chatting with some of you guys on this board as we get more experience. Until then, take care,

Mike

Out of curiousity what kind of job did you find in Palau?

The couch is all yours! (if you don't mind the gecko rodeo that appearantly kicks off every night about midnight in my living room)

I was disappointed to find out that, even though I'm closer geographically to OZ now, it still takes over 20 hours to fly there from here due to the poor routing of air traffic through Guam. We need a direct route.
