Aquatic Safaris Dive Club

Short notice but the Aquatic Safaris Dive Club (ASDC) is meeting Thursday Oct 14 at Sticky Fingers down here in Wilmington. We meet the 2nd Thursday of every month. I don't think we have a planned speaker but we'll get together and tell lies over a couple beers. I think there is a fall trip being planned to Florida and possible talk of some trip farther south this winter. AS website has the details of the club. Hope to see ya there.

Hi Pat,

Some of us out of this forum were also talking about planning a trip to Florida this winter. We were thinking Florida springs. Maybe we could talk about planning our trips where they conincide. Check out the thread in this forum regarding Club Meetings. We're trying to establish a weekly chat so that we can plan trips like this with other NC divers.

Wish I could be at Sticky Fingers for your meeting. I lived in Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington for 4 years and loved it!!! Dying to move back. I do visit often as most of my friends stayed there and settled down. Maybe I'll plan a visit when your club has something going on in order to meet more NC divers.

There is a trip planned to Crystal River Nov. 18-21 all the details are on Aquatics website www.aquaticsafaris.com. Another trip is being planned for, I think, Key Largo in the next few months also. The club is definatly a good place to meet new dive buddies a lot of active divers attend. I'll try to find out more info and post it in the near future.

I dove with this group early in the month good group and had great dives with them only trouble for me is travel time and leaving my house at 3 AM to get there LOL to meet dive boat. first time I schedualed to dive with them missed boat was at the wrong side of bridge, oh well my fault second time was there ahead of time LOL.

I'll be in Key Largo on November 10 - 15. If you all plan another trip to Florida for the fall make sure you post it so maybe us Raleigh area divers could join you.
