Aqualung Seaquest Pro problem

Guys, I'm having a problem with my Aqualung BCD. The thread near the left shoulder where you will attach the inflator assembly (the part that's attached to the BC) is broken. It's made of plastic and it seems it went brittle and broke. I've read online regarding the same problem but couldn't find where they had it fixed. Called the local Aqualung dealer and they said they don't have a replacement part for that. Does any of you guys here found a solution for the same problem? I've read quite a number of this problem online and it seems no one has found a solution.

The BC itself is in pristine condition. It would be a very big waste to throw it away. Any input would be very helpful.

I also own a Seaquest Pro. No problems since 2004 when I first bought it.
