Excellent, thank you! I've got the Legend MBS, and it's only a couple of months old, so that sounds correct. Im an ASE Master Tech of 17 years specializing in German cars, I'm assuming I'll be good putting it together. Again, thank you for your help!

The easiest way to convert is to take it to a dive shop. Buy the kit through them, and they will most likely install it free of charge. If you buy the kit yourself, you'll also want to get one of these 26mm Yoke Nut Socket to remove the yoke nut - a standard socket will not fit, and you'll struggle with an open ended wrench.

Not speaking from experience, but from the service manual.

The DIN assembly should be tightened to 18 ft-lb
It also suggests to use a DIN to Yoke adapter (not the regulator yoke) as a tool to compress the ACD assembly.

So definitely not rocket science, but will be tricky without a couple of specialist tools that your LDS will already have on their repair bench.

Just in case anyone else searches for this, I did finally get an email back from Aqualung (sent before I opened this thread):

The above is good advise as the yoke nuts are often on tight and do not have much area on the flats. And being brass are easy to deform.

My shop recently did the conversion for me on an older Legend- but the kits for those are now out of stock and I doubt will reappear. Since you have a newer Legend, you may have some luck getting that kit, but my understanding is those are also backordered.

I have the previous gen Legend (2013+ but not the one that came out 2 years ago) - I was able to convert it to DIN for $100 during my annual service (rebuild year)- it was part RA119117
