I'm looking ahead into the future, and at some point I think I am going to want to switch over to a backplate/wing, and convert to DIN when I get into more technical wreck diving. Does anyone know if they make a yoke to DIN conversion kit for the legend? I know there's the option to just get a new first stage, but just thinking of the convenience of having a DIN first stage and using a Yoke adapter if I'm diving somewhere where that's more convenient.

any old adapter will do. If you're super rich, you can get the titanium jobby. I promise not to laugh at you and then covet it.

Isn't the universal adapters from DIN to Yoke? I know I can get one of those, but I am wondering if I can get a specific conversion kit to convert my Yoke to DIN. I'm assuming that would be manufacture specific.

oh. horse of a different color. I imagine you can and it is a very easy swap. Mos def do it yourself.

It is not an easy swap because AL does not to my knowledge have a yoke to DIN kit. The Legend first stage is an ACD unit which means you will need to acquire all of the parts for the ACD DIN. Or vice versa going from DIN to yoke (or use an adapter in this direction).

This is a downside of the ACD system. I have a new Core ACD DIN and I bought a stainless steel yoke adapter from XS Scuba and I have ordered from my AL store all of the parts needed to convert to yoke. $$. It may be cheaper to buy a new second stage. Or look for one used.

oh yeah. i forgot about the ACD. I wouldn't attempt that conversion. too many springy things to shoot across the room.

A link to the titanium DIN to yoke adapter please and thank you with sugar on it?

Soo many people in here having no idea what they're talking about...

aqualung 129021 is the kit you want for the 2013+ legend to convert to din. Theyre about $120 from a dive shop when I got mine. Double check if you have the newest one to make sure it will work.

Easy enough to install if you have the tools and basic mechanical skills

Excellent, thank you! I've got the Legend MBS, and it's only a couple of months old, so that sounds correct. Im an ASE Master Tech of 17 years specializing in German cars, I'm assuming I'll be good putting it together. Again, thank you for your help!
