Thanks all! I decided to go with the Shearwater Teric. I research the crap out of a bunch of options and this one seems like the one for me.

I have had an i770 for a couple of years now, and have never had any problems with it. The screen is very easy to read, even in bright sunlight. It's also very easy to operate. I would highly recommend one. I have had about 10 other computers and this one is by far my favorite.

Thanks for this info. I really like the Teric after doing some research and will probably go that route.

I would and did go perdix, something about a user changeable AA battery.

I have owned this computer for about a year
100 or more dives on it no issues
I would buy it again
The compass has seen limited use but it does the job

I have the i770 and find it bright and very easy to use. I use it with AI and have not had issues. The amazing thing to me is that the rechargeable battery can last for a week of diving (25 or so) with no need to recharge.
I was hesitant after having a 750, but this has been a good dive computer.
Having said that, can't go wrong with Teric, just a bit more money.

Thanks! I needed up going with a Teric.

Yes, a dive buddy uses the i770. Nothing wrong with it, works good. One of the best computers out there.
It's just..the Teric is a big step up!! It oozes build quality, sophistication and is generally the envy of everyone on the boat!

Expensive for what you get at this price. If you compare to other dive computer.

Else, it seem interesting.
