Looking at the Aqualung web site and noticed they have a New Dimension. I assume this is the same as the I3 Dimension less the I 3 system. Very interested in this BC.

I am glad to see it minus the I3 inflation system. Locally we have a lot of I3s on our island. While most are good mechanically, we still an alarming number of I3s fail. It usually is just sand in the mechanical parts of the system. The I3s have their fans, but I am also seeing about 30-40% of divers who bought them replace the equipment with a standard hose type inflators.

I think the I3s work exceptionally well boat diving, but by design lend themselves to problems when shore diving.

Just my opinion. :wink:
