Love it or hate it?????

I like it it seems to make my jaw more relaxed. But they are expencive.

Some people seem to hate them, but I love the Comfobite.

My first experience was with my old US Divers Conshelf SE2, and whenever I had to use another regulator I sorely missed the Comfobite. I changed out the mouthpiece on my current regulator(Atomic) right after I bought it.

With the Comfobite, I don't even have to bite down on the mouthpiece. It just stays there as long as I don't open my mouth. So no effort at all, and there is no such thing as jaw fatigue even when I do multiple hour long dives a day.

Once thing I did notice however, is that the size matters quite a lot in comfort. There are usually two sizes, probably regular and small, and I have also found that there were at least two or three different versions (or dimensions) for each size.
I have a narrow jaw, and I need a small to feel as I mentioned above. A large tends to push on my teeth and make it uncomfortable.

Just a consideration for those who didn't like the Comfobite.

...but I like it, just stays in my mouth with minimum effort on my part. Works for me, but I can understand why people might not like it.

The only mouthpiece I've used that I thought was better was the one on the Sherwood Maximus.

My Titan lx and scubapro regs both have that mouthpiece.I loaned out my scubapro set to a buddy and now hes hooked too. He tossed the stock piece from his zeagle setup in exchange for the small comfobite.

It's been my reg. of choice for several years. I did pay a high price once. However, ever since I've kept an eye out for them. Several times I've found them at affordable prices and I pick one up whether I need it right then or not.

Given the poll results so far I'd say no one that doesn't like the comfobite is interested in responding! ;)
