im not mixed up i know apo island is different from pandan island. its the tour operators who mix em up for marketing purposes although both are commonly called apo island.
 
There are two Apo Islands. Indeed the Apo island close to Negros has no relevance in this thread. Close to Mindoro there is also an Apo island which is part of the Apo reef sanctuary, but this island does not have dive facilities. This is where North Pandan Island comes into play as there is a resort there which has day and overnite trips to Apo Reef as well as diving around Pandan Island.

The cheapest price I have found for a multiday liveaboard to Apo Reef is with Octopus Divers which is located on Sabang Beach, Mindoro. They do trips ranging from 2-5 days and sometimes include Coron Bay or the Mactan Ferry as part of the trip. Octopus Divers
