hay guys trying to dive apo reef in the next week or two cheep any tips or any budget boats going out

Hello.

Apo Island is different than Apo Reef. Apo island = dumaguete area and is not dived using a liveaboard (safari - yes, liveaboard - no).

In the next week or two is very short notice to make a booking (if there is a boat going out), but who knows, maybe there's a cancellation.

Try searching this subforum instead: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/philippine-paradise-divers/ as most of the PPDers do not venture into this subforum. You can search for liveaboards and it will bring up a couple threads. There are a few that head out from Coron (Discovery Divers, other ops that I can't recall the names atm....) that cost significantly less than when leaving from closer to Manila (Explorer Fleet).

A bed that cost significantly less out of coron going to Apo reef...

Very nice sleeping on with the stars overhead after a days diving...and after a good meal and SMB at the end of the day.

Our lucky chicken, tied to the BBQ for the trip, but never became lechon manok...
