Ambon in Indonesia or Dauin & Apo Island in the Philippines ?

After the last few years of diving into Indonesia for 2025, I'm still undecided.

Ambon in Indonesia or Dauin & Apo Island in the Philippines ?

Never been to Ambon but it is on the list.

Dauin and Apo island however is some of the best diving I have ever done.

Have been to both of these excellent destinations. But Ambon is way better.

Hi! I'm from the Philippines so I may be a bit biased, but I would definitely highly recommend Dauin & Apo Island as they will be some of your best dives especially if you're into underwater photography or macro or muck diving.
