Sorry for opening up an old thread. Are you guys using regular Apeks first stages for O2?
Yes. Unless you have an older service kit, all the Apeks service kits (and newly shipped regulators) use O2 compatible components. I think Apeks only states that their Green XTX/DS4 DIN can be used with 40 to 100%, but there is no difference between that regulator and a standard XTX/DS4 other than green color parts.
 
Yes. I have an assortment of DST’s and DS4’s mated with TX, ATX and XTX seconds that I use for my deco regs and bailouts. I clean all my regs the same and don’t put specific regs on specific bottles. One day a reg might be on a 32% bottle and the following weekend it might be on a 100% bottle.
