Well, at this point I am just trying to pick between Legend LX with ACD and Oceanic EOS/FDX10 with DVT (pretty much the same thing). As far as I can tell, Oceanic is a little cheaper and comes with the swivel on the second stage - a nice feature to have. Any comments?

The Apeks DS4, DST (XTX50) and FST (XTX200) 1st stages are all enviromentally sealed as is the Legend 1st stage. The Apeks 1st stages do not have the ACD feature.

FST is the XTX100 and FSR is the XTX200 these two 1sts are basically the same save the removable HP valve seat on the FSR and the enviro sealing diaphram is orientated on the top on the FSR and on the bottom of the FST, also the lp ports on the FSR are angled performance between the XTX50/100 and 200 is the same (seconds are identical internally.Cheers.

Kinda late but, Aqua lung does have a promo if you buy a reg. setup. I think $ 100 off?

Which is one of the major reasons I am considering AL at all...Oceanic runs the same promotion on their gear and I can get Oceanic EOS + Alpha 8 octo for $200 off the cost of AL Legend LX + Titan octo setup.

The question is - is Legend LX a better performing regulator setup (when compared to Oceanic EOS)?
