Apeks IP Drop

Halocline hits it on the head- most likely!
I have noticed when playing with a variety of first stages and watching the IP drop via a BCD hose gauge that the piston firsts always had a much more pronounced drop than the diaphragms. This didn’t make sense because the pistons were supposed to have a higher flow rate capability- however the Venturi effect of that higher flow on the BCD port of the first stage would explain it.
