Apeks High-Profile or SiTech exhaust valve

Hi

It's time to order my first dry suit and I would like to know your experiences with these valves. I have read that the low-profile Apeks are sometimes leaky while the SiTechs aren't. Is that also true for the high profile ones?

I have used all 3 and in preference order 1) Sitech 2) High profile Apeks 3) Low profile Apeks.

I had no leaks from 1 or 2 but the low profile leaked as it aged - the LP Apeks has improved over the years but I prefer how the Sitech and Apeks High profile dump gas more enthusiastically.

My friend has an Apeks high profile on his suit and it occasionally leaks. I have a Sitech and it's never leaked, although this is only a sample of two. YMMV.
