Apeks DS4/TX50 no longer available

According to an e mail i received from DiveINN, Apeks is not offereing the DS4/TX50 anymore. Its been replaced by the ATX range and is not available with the DS4.

Why is such a popluar reg combo being discontinued? i just dont get it!

simplyscuba.com still sells the DS4 firsts and ATX seconds separately. Check with them.

Yes but - my new simplyscuba order so far says both are Out-Of-Stock

I asked my LDS about this and they said they know of no problem getting this product and they sold one just this week.

It is shown in the new 2002 color catalogue as well as in the dealer price list. The only hitch would be if their was a problem with the distributor's inventory.

Their price was as good as any and they really know Apeks regs and thoroughly prep them before selling them. Price currently is $525 Canadian (approx $350 US)

FYI - Mail order for Apeks and most manufacturers is strictly not allowed ( by any dealer) so if you private message me I can pass your name to the store manager.
