yeah so santa just dropped off an atx100 w/ the non-swivel fst 1st stage. Im happy. It seemes to me though, the hose connecting the 2nd stage is awefully short out of the box? Ive only been renting titan regs from my lds this is my first reg so maybe im mistaking. anyone have issues with suppiled reg hoses on an apeks set up or anyother? Is this a common occurance?

( oh for the PC among you, Happy holidays)

In reference to your question, I think that you will notice no difference in the hose length except that you will have a lower underwater profile. This is an excellent performing regulator. It was the first to pass the 1000 ft. mark. The angled ports will also help in minimizing your profile so that you don't easily get caught on things.

hope this helps...
