Anyone with a recommendation for the Oceanic EOS reg

I have noticed the prices for the Oceanic EOS regulator have come down from roughly $600 to $300 on a close-out at Leisure Pro and Scubatoys. While this seems like a good deal, I am a little suspicious as to why this reg is on a close-out. Does anyone have any experience with this reg? Any recommendations? Thanks!

I asked the same thing a few days ago and was told that they are closing out the EOS's with the old style swivel hose on them, and that all of the new ones will have the maxflex hoses with the new swivel. I actually bought one yesterday through my lds and they were able to match the price(after a few phone calls to Oceanic.) I have a few friends that dive the EOS and recommended it highly!

Thank you for the reply and information. I was able to find a couple of folks that dive this reg and they also recommended it. I wil be buying an EOS a little later this week.

I would not wait too long. I think that I read somewhere that the sale ends 4/30, which is tomorrow!

Yeah I am thinking about getting this reg or the Hollis 212 which I been told its the same reg
