For anyone who doesn't understand why White Sox fans can't stand the Cubs...one small example:

I am suddenly reminded of why I am so euphoric that we are about to sweep this thing and put 88 years of history behind us.

As for last night, I don't want to hear any more griping about dropped third strikes or Rowand not getting hit by a pitch, because if that shot wasn't called a homer, the game would have been over in 9!

That game last night was a nightmare. Sorry Astros fans..they don't deserve to win now. So many chances and couldn't even hit a ground ball to make the last run? Pitiful.
I predict a sweep tonight. Actually I hope for a sweep. I'm sick of baseball.

PS. I hate Dusty Baker, and can't wait until they give him the same heave hoe they gave Sammy.

Never been to or lived in New York, but from what I understand, that's pretty spot-on.

You have to understand...Ozzie has stood up for Dusty every time someone in the media has said anything disparaging about Baker in an interview. Ozzie made it clear in a recent interview that he is very disappointed with Dusty's comments.

Dusty, I don't like what he said. I thought we were friends.

That's OK, we'll see [which team] owns the town now.

I lost a lot of respect for Dusty when he almost let his little boy get run over going after a bat in the middle of a play at the plate during the 2002 World Series. Thank God J.T. Snow pulled him out of danger just in time. A 3-year-old should NEVER be bat boy! What was he thinking???

Congrats White Sox! I watched the first half of the game with Astro's fans, and ran between houses to catch the last half with Sox fans! What a night.
Sorry I was so crabby in my last post. Up too late watching baseball. I'm so glad it's over.

If so, Yankee fans should never watch a Ben Affleck movie after his comment:

The Yankees are the worst thing to happen to professional sports since the inception of professional sports. The New York Yankees are the - how can you root for the Yankees?"

Besides Tom Cruise is a Yankee fan ... better movies too.
