I am a heart filled cubs fan, but rooting the sox along all the way.... I know for a fact that were plenty of north side bars that were rooting for the Angels.....thats pretty tasteless..Chicago is Chicago!

Houston or Cardinals...doesnt matter.....the way things are going the Sox cant be stopped.
Sorry, I can't see your POV. I don't root for geography, I root for my *team*. I see too many Giants fans also root for the A's. Some even have caps split down the middle with both logos on them. I say "******* the A's."

I can also say I can root for geography. When you're born and rasied in a great city, you're happy to see any teams of that city win.

Oops. Forgot for a minute what a great city Oakland is. :D

[Sorry, Jerry]

yeah, they sure blew that call when the pitcher tagged the runner with his glove while the ball was in his other hand...can you believe they actually called him safe eventually...the nerve.

I'm happy that the White Sox are going to the series, but I wish it weren't because of numerous, obvious umpire mistakes in games 2,3 and 4. Best of luck to the Sox, I hope they get one.

Only good call of the ALCS. In Game 4, Podsednik was out on base at least twice, but called safe and then went on to score.

Oh well.

Yeah...Yeah....
whatever...

quit crying about the missed call...

he looked safe to me!

Tie goes to the runner (or something like that)
That's the way the cookie crumbles, etc...

CHICAGO WHITE SOX

...all the way!

I like baseball and have been to Wrigley Stadium, but haven't really followed it in years...so your gonna have to pinch me....the White Socks made it to the WS?

Natasha:
My prediction is the Astro's and Sox in the WS. Sox winning the WS. Although, I will be very happy either way. It will just be great to think of these two teams in the WS this year.

Thoughts?

As a Yankee fan, I'm very glad that cosmos has been restored and the Bosox were soundly disposed off by the White Sox (the Empire is safe) ... defending World Champs ... great defense that one:D

I also agree with your prediction that it will the Astro's and Sox who have 4 former Yankee pitchers in their starting rotation (Rocket, Pettite, Contreras and El Duque). How evil is that? We spread the wealth to other teams.:D

Congrats to the White Sox for getting rid of those pesky Angels. The better team won! Hopefully, they can put an end to the Wild Card streak of winning the WS.

Since the Yanks aren't in, BoSox are gone, Angels are gone, I'll be cheering for the White Sox! 1917 is a verryyy long time.
