Hello,

I've been away from diving for a few years. I'll have some time to devote to it this summer and am looking for some buddies who are open to new divers joining the group. I'm in Rowley, MA and would love to find some people near me. I dive in a wet suit, so it's not yet warm enough for me. :D

Hope to hear from you!

Hey!
I'm actually going to be relocating come late summer (~August, going to grad school), but I'd love to get wet with you. Err... I just bought a dry suit, so you'll be the one getting wet =P. I usually dive with two other people, so a fourth would let us split up into two twos, so that might work well! The three of us are all scientists (two techs + a professor... all biology/chemistry), so if you don't mind the nerdiness, we're pretty friendly.

Shoot me a PM once it warms up to your usual temps and we can set up a dive. I'm going to start diving as soon as my dry suit comes in (~2-3 weeks) at Hathaways, and will move to the ocean as soon as my wet-suited buddies feel that they're ready.

Catch you later,
-Brett

Thanks for the response. I'm a "word" guy (marketing) so I may lost with three scientists, but it will be fun :)

I'll PM you.

Don't let it worry you, you're safe once you get below the surface. I'm a scientist, and I still haven't figured out a good way to babble about science with hand signals. :D

I will start diving up here around may/June just as soon as I get my advanced open taken care of. A group I could split charter fees with or do some shore diving would be great. PM me if any of you are interested.

If you care to venture up into Maine we have a number of sites I'd be happy to share with you. Diving wet up here becomes reasonable after Memorial day though it can be done earlier.

Sean,

I'm up in your neck of the woods (Amesbury) and generally head over to Cape Ann one morning each weekend. Last summer I started in June, but picked up a drysuit in the offseason so I'll probably start going out regularly with my brother-in-law and another friend some time in April or May. I'd be happy to connect with you as soon as the water warms to your liking. Perhaps we could both head up 95 to meet Pete in Maine!:D

Drop me a PM and we can swap contact info.

Best,

- Rob

Pete,

I'd be up for a trip to Maine. It looks like you have a lot of experience. If you're patient, I'll dive with you. PM for contact information.

Thanks,

Sean
